I grew up in California and even as a small child loved doing all types of crafts.   My Mom and Grandmother were a great inspiration to me by encouraging my creativity and introducing me to various crafts.

I married my husband, Fred, in 1980.  At that time he was in the U.S. Air Force and we started our family of two wonderful children.  During our Air Force life we moved to different places and it seemed that with each move I found new and exciting crafts.  In 1997, living in Wichita Falls, Texas,  I met a friend that introduced me to egg artistry.  My husband and I attended our very first egg show in Dallas and have been hooked on the art ever since.  I started creating eggs at a table I set up in the bedroom; but as you can guess I soon ram out of room. When we moved to Maine in 1999 and purchased a home that was built in the 1700’s I finally had my own studio.

Since being introduced to egging I have taught my Mom and Sister who have picked up the art and are sharing it with others.  I attend local festivals and show my eggs; now I am known as the egg lady in the region. I love teaching egg art to whomever is interested and have conducted  numerous classes over the years. I created the Maine state egg for The White House 2007 annual Easter Egg Roll.

In 2005, I had the opportunity to start Elegant Egg Creations, an egg art supply business.  I created a catalog, attended egg shows and put it on the web for easy access for my customers.  I love talking to customers and sharing knowledge and information so they may love egging too.

I am blessed and have made some wonderful friends through the art and look forward to egging well into the future.
